Refunds and Returns Policy

At Metal Garage Ltd, customer satisfaction is important to us. This policy outlines our approach to refunds and returns so that you know what to expect if something isn’t quite right with your order.

1. Warranty and Product Condition

  • All our products are sold brand new and include a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
  • Please note: Shipping fees are non-refundable under any circumstance.
  • Items that have been used or assembled are not eligible for return, as they are either custom-built or no longer in resale condition.

2. Custom-Made Structures

  • Any product manufactured to your specifications—such as custom sizes, styles, or features—is considered a made-to-order item.
  • These custom structures are non-refundable and cannot be returned, as they are tailored specifically to your order and not suitable for resale.

3. Standard Stock Returns

  • If you’ve purchased an item from our standard inventory, it may be eligible for return if:
    • It is new, unused, and in its original condition
    • It includes all original packaging and is suitable for resale
    • The return is requested within 14 calendar days of delivery
  • Returns requested beyond 14 days of delivery will not be accepted for any reason.

4. Refund Options

  • Refunds are only available for eligible stock items and are issued as:
    • A product-only refund (excluding shipping charges), or
    • An exchange for a different item (new shipping charges apply)
  • The customer will be required to cover the cost of delivery for the exchange.

5. Return Method – We’ll Handle Pickup

  • If your return request is approved, Metal Garage Ltd will arrange for collection of the product directly from your address.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring the item is safely packed and ready for pickup.
  • All costs related to return transportation and any associated payment processing fees are the customer’s responsibility.

6. Returned Item Condition

  • Products returned damaged, incomplete, or improperly packed may be subject to a deduction of 20% to 50% of the item’s value, depending on the level of damage.
  • If you choose, damaged returns can be shipped back to you at your cost.

7. Invalid or Rejected Returns

  • Returns sent without prior authorization or improperly prepared for pickup will not be processed.
  • Unclaimed or unresolved returns will be held for 14 days before being disposed of.

8. Before You Return

  • Always contact us first at sales@metalgarages.uk to confirm whether your item is eligible for return.
  • Do not attempt to return items independently—we will manage all approved collections.
